Another project is done by AT Consulting and VimpelCom
21.07.2008
The VimpelCom Group and AT Consulting Group proudly announce that program of integration into centralized IT systems for the newly acquired by VimpelCom companies throughout Russia is successfully finished.
AT Consulting and VimpelCom team had quite a task before them: complete subscribers migration into the centrilized VimpelCom IT architecture (based upon Ensemble billing system and PPS Comverse) for recently formed offices in Orenburg, Far Eastern, Stavropol, Kaliningrad and South Sakhalin regions.
In course of the project there had been developed universal methodology letting data migration flow easily in each case yet taking into consideration all business processes features of each newly acquired operator. The team conducted migrations avoiding even slightest inconveniences for the subscribers. Now all offices work according to standard VimpelCom processes and use the same reporting procedure. Experience gained by the team is to be used on all future projects for VimpelCom both in and outside Russia.
Alexey Orlov, AT Consulting project manager, comments: “We took active part in those early similar projects back in 2002. Basics concept, developed back then, is upgraded with each migration. So it is safe to say that now any project in this field is well within our range.”
