VimpelCom Group (TM Beeline) and AT Consulting Group announce successful implementation of the inter-carrier settlements system

Implementation of InterconnecT system (Intec, England) is finished for all recently acquired by VimpelCom mobile operators all over the CIS.
The joint VimpelCom/AT Consulting team rolled out InterconnecT system at Unitel (Uzbekistan), Ukrainian Telesystems (Ukraine), ArmenTel (Armenia) and Tacom (Tajikistan).
The inter-carrier settlements systems greatly help with traffic optimization along with overall effectiveness of the network, leading to increase in company’s earnings. Intec InterconnecT is one of those all-around and most functional systems in the given field and is capable of processing any traffic be it voice transmission or any advanced services in data transfer. The system is used by 250 carriers all over the world, VimpelCom included.
The system had been set up in each country in accordance with the existing agreements between VimpelCom and other operators and demands of the local legislation; integration with GSM network is fulfilled, end system users had been trained. “Simultaneous system startup in several companies at once was successful because of the high professionalism of each team member,” said Evgenyi Saburov, Head of Inter-operator Traffic Control Services for VimpelCom.
Methodology and experience received are used at the present moment on the InterconnecT rollout for theGeorgian company Mobitel.
